Terms of Use

Last updated: 07/29/2026

By using Foyer or requesting a report, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Foyer.

1. What Foyer is

Foyer produces written reports that explain how selected areas of Florida and federal law work: the rules, how they operate, common traps, and your rights. Reports are educational. They are meant to help you understand how a system works so you know what is happening and what to ask a professional.

2. What Foyer is not

Foyer is not legal advice, and using Foyer does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are not lawyers, not a law firm, and not your representative. Foyer is not financial, tax, or accounting advice either. Foyer does not review or handle your personal documents, and does not tell you what to do in your situation. Where a report explains that different rules apply depending on what you do, it is explaining how the rule works so you understand it before you act. The decision is always yours. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney or other qualified professional. Foyer is meant to make that conversation more useful, not to replace it.

3. Accuracy and scope

Reports cover Florida and federal law. They may not apply outside Florida. Reports are drawn from sources we compiled from published statutes and government materials, verified as of the dates noted, and are built so they do not state facts beyond that verified base. Laws change. A report reflects the law as of its verification date and is not updated after delivery. While we take care with accuracy, we do not warrant that every statement is complete, current, or applicable to your situation.

4. How reports work

Each report covers one subject. You choose the parts of it you want covered. Your answers to a few questions decide what is emphasized; they do not change what the law says. Reports are produced automatically and delivered digitally.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Foyer for your own personal, non-commercial purposes; to provide accurate information; and not to resell or republish reports, misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated means to obtain reports or get around any limits.

6. Promotional offers

We may offer free reports for a limited time. Promotional offers are limited in quantity and time, may be limited to one per person, and may be changed or ended at any time.

7. No warranties; limitation of liability

Foyer and all reports are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any decision you make or action you take based on a report. For any paid report, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for it.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
